OKPlay uses advanced AI to analyze content across 14+ safety themes including violence, language, scary content, substance use, disrespect, and more. Each theme receives a risk score from 0-10, backed by exact quotes and timestamps from the content.
OKPlay offers two plans: Basic ($3.99/week or $34.99/year) for 1 child profile and 5 analyses per week, and Family ($6.99/week or $64.99/year) for unlimited profiles, unlimited analyses, and all 14+ safety themes. Both plans include a free trial, and you can cancel anytime.
OKPlay covers movies, TV shows (individual episodes and full seasons), and YouTube Kids videos. You can search by title for movies and series, or paste a YouTube Kids URL directly. Our database uses TMDb for title search, so if a title exists on any major streaming platform, you can analyze it.
We analyze for: Violence and Fighting, Scary and Intense Scenes, Inappropriate Language, Substance Use, Disrespect and Rudeness, Unsafe Behavior, Sexual Content, Dark Themes, Discrimination, Emotional Abuse, Gender Stereotypes, Consumerism and Materialism, Privacy Concerns, and more. You can customize which themes matter to your family in Settings.
You can add profiles for each of your children with their name and age. When you run an analysis, the safety report adapts its recommendations to the selected child. You can switch between profiles easily from the Dashboard.
Absolutely. We never track what your children actually watch. We only analyze content on-demand when you search for it. Your data is encrypted and never sold to third parties. Reports are cached locally on your device so they are available offline.
Previously generated reports are cached locally and accessible offline. However, running new analyses requires an internet connection since content needs to be processed through our AI engine.
